~Self Identity~
In this lesson we will be using the following: Mirrors, Costumes, Shoes/Slippers, and hand bags.
In this lesson the children will be learning: Reflection Happy/Sad, colors, sizes, and numbers.
At the start of the lesson the children may sing the song "Patty Cake, Patty Cake"
At the start of the lesson the children may identify self as boy/girl. (Earlier)
As the lesson continues the children may self as boy or girl. Children show off frilly dresses. (Middle)
At the end of the lesson the children may identify self as long/short hair or short hair and call themselves princesses.

During the lesson the children may recognize that they have different body parts. (Strategy #1)
As the lesson continues the children may recognize that some children are different colors that they are.
(Strategy #2) By the end of the lesson the children may recognize the difference in race and hair texture. (Strategy #3)

As the session comes to a close the children the children will be given a three minute warning off which the children will be asked to clean the home area up. The children will then be asked to pretend that they are taking a cake to the carpet.
Children will discuss what they did in the home area.
